Tell us how you would improve the roaming regulation

On July 6, the European Commission published their proposal for a new EU roaming regulation that will help to further bring down prices for using your mobile phone when abroad and already took up a lot of our initial demands. Last week, the proposal was submitted to the European Parliament committees on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE), Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) and Legal Affairs (JURI) which will now debate the proposal and may make changes to it.

We are now reviewing proposals and ideas we have received from different people and gathered over the last weeks in order to put together a catalog of improvements to the regulation. Our goal is to make this proposal even better than it already is.

And you can help us to do this: Take a look at the proposal by the European Commission here and at the short description after the break (just click “continue reading”). And then just tell us what you think about it and how you think the proposal could be improved by e-mail to roaming@europeunited.eu or by commenting on this post.

Your input is greatly appreciated!
