MEPs Emilie Turunen and Róża Thun support our campaign

We are glad to announce that two further MEPs, Emilie Turunen of the Danish Socialistisk Folkeparti and Róża Thun of the Polish Platforma Obywatelska have voiced their support for our campaign. Both are members in the European Parliament’s Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection which also has responsibility for the issue of roaming charges.

Federation of Young European Greens supports Europeans for Fair Roaming

We are delighted to announce that FYEG – the Federation of Young European Greens, the European umbrella organisation of youth organisations of Green parties and environmental NGOs supports the call by Europeans for Fair Roaming for lower Roaming charges.

JEF Europe adopts resolutions against roaming

JEF Europe, the European umbrella organisation of the Young European Federalists adopted a resolution against roaming fees at their Federal Committee in Budapest at the beginning of April.

JEF Europe sees roaming charges as a violation of the principles of EU law and calls for more fairness towards the users, opening up markets for all operators across Europe and the establishment of a roaming spot market to bring down wholesale prices.
